Mass Effect on the PC will be missing the recent Xbox 360 download, Bring Down the Sky. It was widely thought that the DLC from the Xbox 360 version would be included in the boxed PC version, however yesterday Bioware announced that it is not true. No word yet on whether or not it will be available for download on the PC.

The reasoning behind this might be so EA/Bioware can extend the life of Mass Effect PC for a couple more months. They’ll dangle Bring Down the Sky in front of them and make it available in the late summer. And by then, the Xbox players may have their second DLC available. The point is to keep Mass Effect on the minds of PC and Xbox gamers for a long time… at least until ME2 info is released.
