EA/Bioware announced that Mass Effect on the PC will get free downloadable content. Bring Down the Sky will be available as a free download as soon as someone purchases the game. Xbox 360 gamers had to pay for this special downloadable content. I wonder if the Xbox gamers are getting mad at EA for this? Or is $5 a small price to pay to have the content several months before anyone else? Will Bring Down the Sky be made a free download on the Xbox 360 after May 28th to smooth things over with Xbox 360 owners?

There is no word yet on whether or not all DLC will be made available for free for PC game owners. If EA does decide to do this, they will have to make it free on the Xbox Live Marketplace too. They would piss off a lot of loyal fans if they don’t.
