Bioware recently announced that Mass Effect will use Ageia’s PhysX technology. Ageia, the developer of PhysX, has been recently gaining more and more support from game devs, despite the lackluster sales of its PhysX product.
Bioware CEO, Ray Muzyka, had this to say, ““There’s no reason to reinvent the wheel when you have a world-class, easy-to-implement physics solution such as AGEIA PhysX technology. AGEIA PhysX will deliver mind-blowing physics action for games using BioWare’s next-generation game engine.â€
Oh, I might have forgotten to post this little tidbit, but, Mass Effect is rumored to be coming to PC. Everyone celebrate now!
