Mass Effect 1 & 2: News, Walkthrough, and Screenshots

All the talk the last few days has been about Bioware possibly releasing a port of Mass Effect for the Nintendo DS. “We have a lot of big plans for Mass Effect. Having a DS version would be an awesome way to keep interest alive and keep it going in addition to Mass Effect 2.”

There is a lot of criticism coming out about the news. Because of the scope of Mass Effect, would it translate well on the DS? Another popular game, Assassin’s Creed, was recently ported to the DS. It turned out OK, but thats because it is a more linear game then Mass Effect.

My take on the subject is: the more gamers that get to experience the Mass Effect environment, the better. I understand wanted to keep some franchises exclusive to specific consoles, but when you’re in the business of covering a game on a fan site, the more people who get to play it means more visitors! I say bring it on Bioware.
