I was browsing the Mass Effect forums and came across an interesting question posed by a member. What do you not like about Mass Effect? We all know Bioware made a tremendous game in Mass Effect, but all games have a shortcomings. I just wanted to post a couple responses. Maybe you’ll agree, maybe you won’t. Let me know.

The wacky appearance and disappearance of textures would have really soured my estimation of any other game, I think. In some games I would have found it downright unnacceptable. It really speaks to Mass Effect’s overall quality that this deficiency was relegated to minor annoyance status in my mind.

I was mildly disappointed in the lack of variation in the minigames

The steep learning curve involved when playing the game as a by-product of things not being explained well (Mako mainly falls under this category)

Weapons that are (untrained) should not be displayed on character
I wish there was a scene at the very end that tell us what will happen with Garrus, Tali, Wrex and, what is most important with Shepard and Ashley. Is there the happy ending for them?
No happy endings. Not yet. There are still two more games to come. Anyway, I’d agree with the lack of information on the Mako. (I actually had to GOOGLE how to get out of the damn thing.)
